Cholera

Spread through contaminated food and water

As of 17 November 2025, a total of 2,018 cholera cases have been reported in Nepal since 1 January 2025. In comparison, in 2024 up to 23 September 2024, a total of 95 cases were reported.

There's a vaccine for this

Stick to safe water and thoroughly cooked food and wash hands often; an oral vaccine is an option for higher-risk trips.
