Your local travel clinic for Sale

We look after travellers from right across Sale at Davyhulme Pharmacy in Urmston — a short hop across the river — with the full range of travel vaccines and plain, friendly advice.

We're Urmston Travel Clinic, based at Davyhulme Pharmacy on Canterbury Road in Urmston, and we help a lot of people from Sale get ready for their trips. You're only just across the Mersey to the south-east of us, so for many Sale neighbourhoods we're a quick and easy run rather than a trek into the city.

Whether you're off on a family holiday, a gap-year adventure or visiting relatives abroad, you can have your vaccines and your travel-health advice sorted in one relaxed appointment. Tell our pharmacist where you're heading and we'll handle the rest — no rushing, no jargon.

Getting to us from Sale

From most of Sale the easiest route is over the Mersey and towards Urmston and Davyhulme. If you're driving, the A6144 and local roads bring you across to our side of the river, and the M60 (junctions 9 and 10) is handy if you're coming from the Sale Water Park or motorway side of town. We're at 179–181 Canterbury Road, M41 0SE. If you'd rather not drive, there's a regular train to Urmston station, which is a short ride from the clinic, and Sale's own Metrolink stops link you into the wider network across Trafford. Pop your postcode into your sat nav for Davyhulme Pharmacy and it'll bring you straight to the door.

Parking and a relaxed visit

Parking around the pharmacy on Canterbury Road is generally straightforward, which makes the whole visit easier than heading into Manchester or fighting for a city-centre space. Appointments are unhurried — you'll have time to ask everything you want about your trip, and most travellers have their jabs done the same day.

Looking after travellers from across the area

As well as Sale, we regularly see people from neighbouring Stretford over towards the Trafford Centre, from Flixton and Davyhulme right on our doorstep, and from Chorlton and the wider south-Manchester side. Wherever in Sale you're coming from — whether that's near the town centre, Brooklands, Ashton upon Mersey or Sale Moor — you're very welcome to book in with us.
