Getting to us from Flixton
From most of Flixton, the easiest route is along Flixton Road heading east towards Urmston town centre. From there, follow the signs towards Davyhulme and you'll find us on Canterbury Road, close to the heart of Davyhulme. If you're coming from the Woodsend or Moorside side of Flixton, you can cut through to Davyhulme just as quickly. The whole trip is only a few minutes by car, and it's a manageable bus ride or even a brisk walk for those closer to the Urmston end of Flixton.
Parking and the practical bits
There's local parking around Canterbury Road and the surrounding Davyhulme streets, so you shouldn't have to circle for long. We'll always try to offer appointment times that suit busy Flixton families, including times around the school day and after work. When you book, just let us know where you're travelling and when you fly, and we'll make sure your vaccine schedule has enough time to take effect before you go.
What to expect at your appointment
We start with a proper chat about your trip — your destinations, what you'll be doing there, where you're staying and any health conditions or medicines that matter. From that we put together a plan that's right for you, rather than a one-size-fits-all list. As well as vaccines, we can talk through malaria prevention, food and water safety, insect-bite advice and the small things that make a big difference on the ground. You'll leave knowing exactly what you've had and what, if anything, still needs doing.
