Measles
As of 7 May 2026, a total of 10,049 cases of measles have been reported in 2026.
Mpox
On 9 January 2026, the World Health Organization reported a clade Ib mpox case in Mexico. The case is an adult male with a travel history to Germany. This is the first clade Ib mpox case reported in Mexico.
No vaccine — how to stay safe
Avoid close skin-to-skin contact with anyone who has a rash or sores, steer clear of wild animals, and wash hands regularly.
Dengue
As of 13 December 2025, a total of 141,421 dengue cases (21,344 confirmed) with 85 deaths, have been reported in Mexico for 2025. Serotypes DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV-4 have all been reported. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on dengue
